You may use TradesConnect only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to use the platform in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our services.

You may not: post false or misleading information, impersonate others, engage in fraudulent activities, violate any applicable laws, or interfere with the platform's security features.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

TradesConnect is a marketplace that connects homeowners with service professionals. We do not provide the actual home services and are not responsible for the quality, timeliness, or outcome of services provided by professionals.

When you book a service, you enter into a direct contract with the service professional. TradesConnect facilitates this connection but is not a party to the service agreement.

We may facilitate payment processing between users and professionals. All payments are subject to our payment terms and the terms of our payment processors.

You retain ownership of content you post on TradesConnect. However, by posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display your content in connection with our services.

Reviews and ratings must be honest, accurate, and based on your actual experience. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our guidelines or are suspected to be fake or fraudulent.

We may, but are not obligated to, monitor and remove content that violates these terms or is otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to refuse or remove any content at our discretion.

TradesConnect is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of user-generated content or the quality of services provided by professionals.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradesConnect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or services.

Service professionals are independent contractors. We do not control their work, methods, or results. Any disputes regarding services should be resolved directly with the professional.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team. Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease, though some information may be retained as required by law or our policies.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason we deem necessary to protect our platform and users.

Upon termination, all licenses granted to you will terminate, and you must cease all use of the platform. Sections regarding liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution will survive termination.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising from these terms must be brought in the courts of Ontario.

We encourage users to contact us first to resolve disputes. If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Ontario.

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
